This year's Tokyo Game Show is going to be absolutely packed with announcements, and SNK is one of the companies setting the tone. Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves continues to deliver surprises — one week it's Cristiano Ronaldo, the next it's a confirmed Street Fighter crossover.
This is actually completely new territory for the Fatal Fury franchise. Guest characters haven't been a part of the series' past. Well, now, the doors are wide open. Street Fighter getting Terry Bogard and Mai Shiranui does make a whole lot more sense now.
The Street Fighter characters announced to join Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves are Ken and Chun-Li. Ken will be releasing in the Summer of 2025. Chun-Li will be releasing in the Winter of 2025. Recall that City of the Wolves' first season pass comes included with your purchase of the full game so these two characters will not come at an extra cost.
There are no further details available at this moment. SNK didn't show off anything specific about either of the characters. It'll be interesting to see how the two translate over to City of the Wolves, design-wise and gameplay-wise.
Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves is shaping up to be the biggest fighting game of 2025. There's so much hype surrounding the game that it's getting harder and harder to wait for its release. Until then, we'll keep you posted on City of the Wolves' major announcements.
