Nowadays, you have to keep your eyes peeled for TikTok leaks, because that's how The Pokémon Company just leaked its next Pokémon TCG Pocket set, Triumphant Light. Ads for unannounced updates rarely ever get uploaded early, but someone on the Pokémon team definitely hit a wrong button or two on TikTok. While the video has been taken down by now, the damage has already been done. We now know that Arceus is headlining the next TCG Pocket set, among other interesting tidbits.
Forgive the poor image quality, by the way. It unfortunately comes with the territory.
Presumably, The Pokémon Company has plans to officially reveal this new Pokémon TCG Pocket set in the upcoming Pokémon Presents. This set is expected to release within the next week, so it just makes the most sense, timing-wise. Sooner rather than later, we'll get a good look at Triumphant Light's most important cards. In the meantime, though, we do have some things that we can analyze from the leaked video.
On Triumphant Light's pack art, you can clearly see Arceus, Crobat, and Tyranitar. Those names are notable because none of those Pokémon are currently in Pokémon TCG Pocket. They're going to be very welcome additions. The spotlight Pokémon of the trailer, though, is absolutely Arceus ex. From a quick glance, the card doesn't seem to be anything too special, but it can slide nicely into basically any deck, thanks to its Normal typing. A max damage output of 130 costing 3 Energy is pretty good value.
In the leaked ad, we can also get a super blurred out look at a new Crobat card. While it's impossible to make out anything specific, other than its 110 HP, you can just vaguely tell that Crobat has some kind of Ability. Crobat also seems to have an attack that costs just 1 Energy. It'll be interesting to see what these cards are fully capable of once Triumphant Light officially drops.
